We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to serve as the remote technical backbone for client environments, with responsibility for designing, configuring, and supporting advanced network and server infrastructure while acting as a senior escalation point and technical lead for infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
- Remotely troubleshoot network and server infrastructure across client environments
- Configure and deploy firewalls, switches, and servers for new and existing clients
- Support advanced network and server infrastructure to maintain performance, security, and reliability
- Lead the technical execution of client onboarding projects
- Lead infrastructure migration activities across client environments
- Execute system and network infrastructure upgrades
- Serve as a senior escalation resource for complex infrastructure issues
- Resolve infrastructure issues that cannot be addressed by Tier 1 or Tier 2 support
- Collaborate closely with on-site support technicians and field engineers
- Provide clear remote guidance for hardware deployments requiring an on-site presence
- Provide technical direction to field engineers and on-site support teams
- Perform quality control for hardware deployments and other on-site infrastructure activities
- Support multiple client environments and technology stacks within a multi-tenant environment
Requirements
- Hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and supporting Fortinet FortiGate, Meraki, and/or SonicWall firewalls in live production environments
- Proven experience deploying and managing Ruckus, Meraki, or comparable enterprise-grade switches and wireless networks
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server administration
- Extensive experience administering Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, and Intune
- Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, and Intune administration experience within a multi-tenant or client-facing environment such as an MSP or consulting environment
- Experience managing multiple client environments, including the use of Lighthouse or similar multi-tenant portals
- Solid understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and TCP/IP fundamentals
- Excellent troubleshooting and advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex, multi-layered issues independently
- Ability to work effectively across multiple client networks and different technology stacks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical business stakeholders
- Experience working in, or recent experience within, an MSP environment
- Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
