Chief of Staff

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Chief of Staff to partner directly with the CEO and executive leadership team. This high-impact role is pivotal in driving company priorities, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring operational excellence across all levels of the organization.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator, problem solver, and project manager who anticipates challenges and develops proactive solutions. They should align with our highly collaborative, results-driven management style and be proactive, organized, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Job location: Remote / Serbia

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, assisting in setting and executing strategic initiatives.
  • Lead and manage critical projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate the preparation of Board, investor, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring organizational efficiency and alignment with company goals.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Drive organizational rhythm, including planning leadership meetings, setting agendas, and ensuring follow-through on action items.
  • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and the leadership team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with department heads to resolve cross-functional challenges and align priorities.
  • Provide structure and support to critical growth initiatives, including M&A activities and integration planning.
  • Take ownership of special projects as delegated by the CEO, including exploring new business opportunities, improving internal processes, and executing strategic partnerships.
  • Support the implementation of new initiatives, such as pricing strategies, enterprise sales processes, and ISMS enhancements.
  • Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required for urgent projects.
  • Occasionally travel (5-10% of the time) within Europe for leadership meetings, company retreats, or project-related activities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in a strategic or operational role, such as management consulting, project management, or similar leadership positions.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning and execution.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with experience interacting with C-level executives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Highly proactive and detail-oriented.
  • Adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset and a results-driven attitude.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in a SaaS, cybersecurity, or tech company is highly advantageous.
  • German proficiency is a strong plus.
