How to build a Header with Elementor?

The Header can be found at the top of most websites. It is a section of the page where website navigation is usually found. Although some pages on a site might not have a header or require a custom header, websites typically utilize one standard header for all of their pages. In this article, we will talk about how to create a Header with Elementor.

The Theme Builder’s Header Site Part feature provides rapid access to add, edit, and delete any header by listing any headers you’ve built, if any.

Creating Elementor Header

In order to create an Elementor Header what you need to do is to go to the WordPress dashboard > Templates > Add New:

After that, you will be redirected to choose a template type. In this case, we will select a Header template type:

Once you select a template type you will be redirected to the Elementor editor. There you will start working on your Header. You can choose between the pre-made Headers:

Or you can continue creating the Header from scratch.

If you choose to create the Header from scratch, simply press the “X” in the top right corner of the Popup, and continue to the editor.

Using the Elementor intuitive editor, you can create a modern and fully responsive Header with ease. At the top of the Widget Panel, you can find the Header widgets. These widgets are dynamic and will pull the content related to the Header.

Besides these widgets that are intended for Header, you can use the rest of the widgets freely as well.

After you finish creating your Header, you can Publish it, and add the relative conditions:

You can choose to display the Header across the whole website, or you can display the Header on certain pages only.

Once you choose where to display the Header click Save & Close and see your Header in action.

Managing existing Headers

You can manage the existing headers here:

Go to the Dashboard > Templates > All > Header. You can find all of the Headers you created. Or you can click on Templates > Theme Builder and you will find all of your templates listed, including the Header template:
